Gaby is an independent filmmaker, photographer, and creative. She graduated summa cum laude with a BFA in Digital Film and Television Production along with a Double Minor in Literature and Culture, and Graphic Design from New York Institute of Technology in 2022.
In her photography and filmmaking, Gaby has developed a distinct aesthetic focusing on striking colors, somber and fantastical themes, and minimalism. She brings a focus to her subjects in powerful display. At the NYIT Film and Animation Festival, her short subject film “Marriage to Death” was nominated in 2020 and her short documentary “Return to NYIT” won best documentary in 2022.
An avid writer, Gaby has contributed poetry and accompanying art from 2019-2022 for the Manhattan Globe newspaper for which she was also production editor and copy editor. She has also tutored in literature and English grammar. Logo design was Gaby’s first job as a child and she continues to design vector-based logos.
Gaby is currently developing several stories intended to be feature films in the future. In her free time, she reads extensively; watches films and anime; and continues on her never ending journey of researching and learning.
